Question: If I can avoid it, I'd rather not input all of the players selected so far. So I was thinking (and let me know if this is possible - no experience with CM) to start drafting with CM in Round 9 (so we would be starting with same order as round 1). As picks are made, I'll update the Yahoo player pool (as always). That list will remain the available players list (even though CM would still have guys like Pujols etc. under 'available').

I see CM as basically a storage place for all of our lists and a cpu making picks from our lists is certainly quicker than the PM system.

Yeah, we could do that. The player list will be cluttered up with all the players taken earlier, but we'll have to be dodging the minor leaguers anyway. So everyone would need to continue tracking their own roster and available players.

If you don't input players I think this will become a huge hassle in the long run. Not everyone here has experience with CM (I do) and might not know exactly how they want to queue. If someone goes over their time limit and doesn't queue CM will give them the highest ranked player available that fits into their roster I believe. If you have players that were already drafted sitting in the player pool, the person whose time ran out will probably be granted a player who has already been picked. Same thing if someone turns on AQ or A instead of Q1/Q2. I'm pretty sure you/RBV/TheRock can go back and edit it to who that person really wanted to draft and it might become a moot point. Just pointing out some things that could possibly go wrong if you don't input picks.

I'm in at CM - first time user though. Basically, we simply need to setup and maintain a queue of available players that we want?

Pretty much. You just have to get used to the Q1, Q2, etc. Its actually pretty easy.

I think it would be really hard to avoid not entering all the taken guys without causing problems with autopicks. I think the commish can pause the draft and overturn picks though?
