Excited to make my pick ;-D I'm surprised this guy has fallen this far. Give me a couple more minutes as I am entering the recent results into Yahoo and I want to make sure.

Don't take him...he's mine...not sure who you're talking about, but I'm pretty sure I want him. :-o :-? :-b

I'm trying to add some intrigue to my pick...maybe ill keep you waiting a couple more minutes :-D

It's obvious who it is. There's only one guy you could be talking about. :-X

Jackass...I was hoping he or Bay would fall to me...or Adrian Gonzales, but I didn't really have much hope for that. :-b

Now I'm going to make some stupid picks... ;-D

CC is a solid pick at the end of the 3rd, but i'm not a big fan of pairing peavy with him there. interesting strategy though.

Nice pick with CC. Will you get the Milwaukee version?

I thought you were going to take Markakis or CC based on your comment...was hoping it would be CC since I would have paired up Peavy with Markakis. Not sure who bobbing_headz was thinking of.

short-term dyslexia more likely

I think you misunderstand my comment ;-)

As a note, please do not discuss players who have not been taken.

Being kinda picky maybe

I didn't misunderstand it, mostly due to the fact that if you think someone mentioning a name would influence how someone would pick is somewhat shortsighted. I mean we are at a fantasy baseball site, right? ;-7 I've made the arguments before, but there will be no surprises when it comes to drafting around guys like everyone in this league, only @#$%^&* when it comes to picking the guy you really wanted ;) ;D So a mention of a name isn't going to change much when I'm fairly certain 100% of us are drafting off some sort of rankings whether they be their own thoughts or someone elses B-)

Many people are downgrading CC because he throws so many innings, but I'm not that worried...he's still quite young (28). His change from NL Central opponents to AL East is more worrisome...but I still think he'll be a top 3 SP.

3.12 CC Sabathia SP NYY

Who I was talking about :-°

And to Wicked, didn't mean to offend. It's just that in other drafts like this we've usually disallowed any names. If things are a little more lax here, that's cool. You are completely right in that I doubt mentioning somebody's name will change the draft. I just wasn't sure how strict it was :-B
