A keeper league sounds good.
I prefer H2H.
No opinion on minor league inclusion...I've never played with it, but I'm willing to learn.
I'd prefer a higher number of keepers...like 10.
I'm pretty flexible...no seriously, I can stretch my arms over and behind my head...it's crazy.

That's what she said.

I'm fine with keepers (8-10), minors, H2H, no keeper penalties, etc.

There is only one thing I'd really push for. Call me crazy, but I would love if we did an auction instead of a slow snake draft. I've done only one auction in all my years, and I'd like to do another. ;-D

I'd be down for an auction, as long as somebody else organizes it :-)

I'll say right now, it's not like my heart is set on it. I just thought it might be something a little different. I know we've all been in our share of plain 'ole 12 team H2H keeper leagues, but with auctions, I've only been in one. But anything is fine with me. Just because I've been in a lot of "plain 'ole 12 team H2H keeper leagues" doesn't mean I don't enjoy them. ;-D

I think what we could propose for our minors since everyone doesn't seem to be against it at all, is something like:

Having a 4-6 round draft each year
No Limit on how many you can have(tradable draft picks)
They are in you're minors until they hit the 130AB/50IP MLB Rookie Eligibilty mark(you can call them up earlier than that)
Once they are called up they can not be put back in the minors.

I wouldn't mind even having a larger draft each year for the minors, but having two separate drafts can be draining(though we could have the minors start in December, and start the regular around Feb, this is what my $$ Dynasty league does) or have one minors draft and an auction. I wouldn't be worried about it draining the player pool at all to have as many minors as we can and it's not hard to find research on prospects at all.

What about Keeper restrictions, as in are they free rights for their career, or can we keep them for a certain amount of years before they'd have to go back into the pool? What's everyones thought on that?

It looks like most people are in favor of some sort of keeper system. Like I said earlier, I think there should be some rules surrounding keepers such as a time maximum rather than just having all keepers be owned forever. IMO it stil maintains the keeper feeling but it doesn't ruin people after a bad draft or allow somebody to dominate for many years.
