wallace is expected to hit for great average over .300. even if he would hit your projections, that makes him a top 5 3b. 3b is now one of the most scarce positions in fantasy baseball due to the absence of braun and miggy this year. at 3b you have arod and wright....then longoria...who else do you got? if atkins is traded he won't even be a top 10 3b...chris davis will be a 1b only next year since m young is moving to third. ian stewart will move to 3rd if atkins is traded, but stewart has the same upside as wallace except with less avg.
I see Wallace as a player that will be ranked in the 50-75 range if he meets my expectations. Fowler on the other hand will be ranked in the 25-40 range.
Wallace is built like an offensive lineman, I'll believe that he hits .300 when I see it. His MiLB numbers last year are small sample size that featured a .386 BAPIP. That's not sustainable by an offensive lineman. And I really doubt that he sticks at 3B more than 2 years, so I rank him as a 1B.
But don't get me wrong I really like Wallace, but I like Fowler better.
