I imagine that he will have trouble finding McDonald's Corp liable because it was a franchise.

That depends on whether McDonald's Corp. owns that franchise. They own a bunch of them.

ha...reminds me of when i was working at Blockbuster back in college. they were very adamant about asking for peoples ID (so i'd d it about 20% of the time). one time i asked this Gen-Xish looking couple and the guy told me "no, but i'll show you a nude photo of my wife, will that do". she was kind of a chubo but i still accepted it as a valid form of ID. it was kind of awkward seeing them there week after week though, and even more awkward when i saw them in an "Adult" store when i was buying some stuff for my buddy's bachelor party

The suit says that Phillip Sherman left the phone the Fayetteville store in July and that employees promised to secure it until he returned.


Just seems odd. Why would he leave his phone there in the hands of the employees?

He didn't leave it with the employees, he left it at the restaurant and then the employees said they would keep it secure until he came back ot pick it up ;-D

I saw a sign about getting a job at McDonald's that advertised "McDirect Shares" as a benefit.
