You gotta admit, Delgado in the third is a no-brainer. And as for Lee, I feel he's the outfielder most flying under the radar this year. In our league I got him somewhere around the ninth round. And I'll take 40 HRs out of Thomas any time. I don't set out to draft them in every league, but at a certain point, you can't ignore them sitting there anymore.
As for pitching, I'm trying something new with this league (my own variation of the LIMA plan). Many of the owners in this draft took pitching quite early and often, so instead of taking the pitchers left too soon, I'm concentrating on the offensive categories and ERA, WHIP, and saves with multiple closers. You have to give me some props for Pierre in the sixth. No way he still would have been there if people hadn't been loading up on pitchers(and I just missed Suzuki in the fifth). I'll let you know after the season how it worked out.
It's time to roll the dice.
