Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Tigers Wednesday agreed to terms on one-year deals with pitcher Jeremy Bonderman and third baseman Eric Munson. In addition, the club renewed the contract of first baseman Carlos Pena for the 2004 campaign.
The 21-year-old Bonderman appeared in 33 games during his rookie season for the Tigers in 2003, including 28 starts, and posted a 6-19 record with a 5.56 ERA.
Munson played in 99 games last year for Detroit and batted .240 with 18 homers and 50 runs batted in. He was the third overall pick of the 1999 free-agent draft.
Pena participated in 131 contests in 2003 and hit .248 with 18 home runs and 50 RBI.
