I wouldn't be worried about Dempster's stuff, or new found wind up.
I'd be more worried about his endurance throughout the second half of the season. He hasn't pitched this many innings since 2002.

It has actually been well documented this year that in the offseason Dempster has maintained a rigorous training regiment & diet, and in fact has actually helped Wood to slim down and get healthier. While Dempster will probably not duplicate his 1st half #'s, I wouldn't be worried about his conditioning at all
