morneau 10 HRs and 43 rbis.
fluke? maybe, but im not betting against it.
Morneau has been notoriously streaky the last 2 years and was terrible in '05 (part of your split) so I'm hesitant to much weight into his splits. But because he has been streaky and tex has a longer, better track record the choice is easily Tex. That's not to say that Morneau can't outproduce Tex, but rather that he could go into a 2 month funk where it is painful to start him.
And yes to Markakis compared to Drew.
I'm not quite sure but wasn't morneau bothered by injuries last year as well. I like Tex the rest of the year anyway. I also like Markakis over Drew. Markakis seems to have been hitting very well lately(.330 over the last month) Drew has been hitting .262 the last month and he is a very streaky hitter. Drew has more power but Markakis seems like a much more consistent player than Drew. Markakis will nab you some bases too.
