2 hr's today. What do you expect out of him? Seems like he is a little injury prone.

He has a horrendously bad K:BB rate which will always hold him down in the .250-ish range in expected average. The power is very legit, though, and he hits 270+ and OPS'es around 1000 vs. righties. I actually just lost Jackson to injury and am replacing him next week with Jacobs, who I think is a solid fill-in.

I could see him finishing this season around 250-30 HR-90 RBI.

He sits a lot. In daily leagues, it's essential to check if he's starting or not.

:-?
He's been resting a cranky quad recently, but he was a daily play for the Marlins before that. Sure, he's not much of a help in BA and it's helpful to have the lineup flexibility to sit him against the good southpaws. But for teams not already dominant in power cats, he's a solid roster addition.

yeah, I got him and was sitting him against a lefty (Moyer) today... that worked out well...

I like his power, and (like others said) if you need power and can take the hit in BA he is useful...
