thanks for the help. You both have very good offenses, but i give him a little bit of an advantage. Aside from Utley, i think your middle infield is weak spot. As for your pitching, im not crazy over it, but it is definitely better. You have too many prospects for my liking, but your pitching can keep you in it long enough to see if they pan out. Dice-K and Edinson really give you two great ptichers, but alot of the others seem like they can be inconsistent, and McGowan certainly isnt living up to expectations. its hard to give a clear cut winner, these two teams are a great matchup. Id have to wait to see if anyone cools down before a good decision is made.

Both of you are definitely top heavy on the offense (which he wins narrowly, but a slump or injury could turn that your way). Pitching, I give you the edge, but both of you have a lot of inconsistency issues there - you should definitely be better on the wins, but I might want to consider packaging together for a top notch pitcher if possible.

His offense is about as good as you could ever get in this format - that said, it is a 14 team league and his lineup isn't perfect - there are guys on his team that just can't possibly keep up at the pace they are currently going. As everyone else has stated, your pitching beats his easily. Overall, I expect your team to outperform his for the season. He has guys on his pitching staff that just simply aren't worth owning. While you won't beat him in the offensive categories, you should definitely stay competitive and your pitching will put you ahead
