Deep 14 Team League, can this pitching get the job done?

Postby papageorgio10 » Mon May 12, 2008 4:05 pm

I am in a 14 Team H2H league that counts OBP , Holds and Quality Starts on top of the standard categories.

I am wondering If I need to trade for a top 5 starter and sell high on anyone on my team.
Let me know what you think...I will reply to your posts.

Thanks..

Thanks for the help!

I think the top of your rotation is good for a 14 team league. Verlander is a top 10 pitcher when he's on and I think he'll turn it around. Halladay and Young are both solid top 20 pitchers as well. Scherzer is a good pick-up, but if he puts together a string of solid starts, I'd consider selling high for somebody more steady. He's currently on a pitch-count, so there will be quite a few games where he doesnt go 6 innings.
