Screwed up my SP, RP and need big-time help...?
Posted: Wed May 07, 2008 2:15 pmI am in 4th currently in a very competitive daily roto league 12-team, 5x5, (I am a 2nd yr fantasy baseball player). I am pretty happy in this keeper league with these hitters but I think I have screwed up my pitching staff beyond repair?
C - McCann, Towles, Clement
1B - Berkman, Votto, Pujols
2B - Roberts,
3B - Encarnacion,
SS - Felipe Lopez, Theriot, Tulowitzki (DL)
OF - Upton, Ordonez, Ellsbury, Pence, Chris Young, Dye, Adam Jones, Rasmus, Maybin and Bruce.
SP - Lincecum, Liriano (AAA), Clay Bucholz, Jurrjens, Smoltz (DL)
RP - Soriano (DL), Saito, Broxton, Qualls, G Mota, Kobayashi.
Here is who is available:
SP - G Olson, R Hill, H Bailey, Kuo, Gallaraga, Eveland, Wellemeyer, Sonnastine, Mussina, Odalis Perez, Maddux, Jo-Jo Reyes, Lannan, Hochevar, Chuck James, Shawn Hill, Garza, Parra, Bush, Hughes, Burress and Zito
RP - Jesse Carlson, Joey Devine, Mike Gonzalez, Tyler Walker, Brandon Morrow, Scott Shields, Brocali, and various Sea, Det et al speculative possibilities.
What should I do with this lineup? I need SP and RP help and havent gotten a lot of good trade offers. I am considering letting go of Rasmus, Maybin and Bruce since I need help now, but I am also thinking of letting Adam Jones go. I want to add Olson, Sonnastine and Parra and maybe Hill or Bailey or Wellemeyer.
