Rate My Team ... More work to be done?

Postby felixthecat011 » Fri May 02, 2008 10:41 am

Here's my team in a 10 team, 5x5 rotisserie non-keeper league. I've pulled off three trades to date:

Sent Jason Bay, Received Ian Kinsler
Sent Randy Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Received Tim Hudson
Send Joe Nathan, Orlando Hudson, Received Adam Wainwright, Robinson Cano

I have also acquired Ryan Zimmerman and Mike Cameron from waivers over the course of the past week. Offensively, I'm trying to stockpile guys that will produce over the longer term and are slumping now.

As for the pitching, I don't have any elite arms, but am trying to cobble together a solid collection of second tier to lower-first tier guys. (Johnny Cueto was also dropped, and I may go after him, and Chris Carpenter is also a guy I'd like to stash on my DL slot from waivers.) We have a 200 start limit on the seaon, and I have only used 27 starts to date (some 60+ starts off the pace).

Question is, should i continue tinkering, or does this look like I should sit back for a while and see how things shake out.
