Just throwing this out there for discussion. Pronk has not performed up to his normal production lines and I know everyone is tired of this but all the indicaters are there to at least ask the question, was his previous output steroid induced??power drop, strike outs way up and so on. anyone else have an opinion :-?

Probably steroid induced. Most baseball players who have dropped off were on when they were"good". Some still use things such as HGH or IGF-1 LR3 possibly even some designer steroids floating around so who knows. Either way Pronk is one of those buy lows that I am definitely staying away from.

Not me, I also think they have figured out how to pitch him, he cant see an inside pitch for some reason. as a tribe fan(duh) I see alot of the games and they are all pitching belt buckle high inside and he cant do a thing with it, I really dont see him improving, its now a year +

Of course not. If he tried to hit anything inside, it would hit his boobies. Guy is massive.
I don't know what his deal is, but it's a sad state of affairs.

I still think he can put up possibly 30 hrs..but 25 is more likely.

He still went so early in drafts too..while you could get a younger Adrian Gonzalez who will put up the same, most likely better numbers a couple rounds later.

Wow Yoda, nice call. You really nailed it. ;-7

I think you can still see the problems. Not only is he not hitting the fly balls, but less and less of those fly balls are going for homeruns. With the 3rd year of this trend, I'm worried about him ever becoming the impact player he was.

IMHO, roids is the only reason for such a drop off.....he was one of the top hitters in the league for 3 years in a row and now he is nothing...its really quite amazing to me. :-?

At what point does Cleveland start looking elsewhere and giving up on Hafner? What's his salary like, I know that would be a big factor?

To take up such a valuable DH spot with someone who really isn't good anymore seems like the Seattle way of doing things. :-P
