Shouldn't this Pitching Staff Not Have Me in Last Place?

Right now, I'm in 7th place overall, even though my offense is scoring 10's and 9's. The problem is my pitching. I have a lot of injuries and underperfomers right now, and I guess what I am looking for is for someone to look at my staff and reassure me that I just need to be patient, which I know is true, but I need to hear it from you guys.

Here is my staff (yeah, I know I need another closer):

Should be fine, although I'd worry about your WHIP. McGowan and Billingsley might never be a positive influence in that stat. I actually have McGowan, Lince and Bills in one of my leagues and I have a top 3 staff due to ww and free agent pickups. I've been able to pickup Volquez, Marcum, Lee, Bannister, and Buchholz. It's almost a curse to go into the season with such a great (on-paper) staff, I have a similar problem in another league. It's obviously frustrating being in the bottom 3 in the pitching categories, but at this point you really just have to stay the course. Most quality free agent pitchers have probably already been scooped so you just have to trust in your pre-season projections. You might want to start tightening up your rotation and play match-ups. Verlander, Shields, Gallardo, and Lincecum should lift you to glory.

Kaiser...Needless to say I feel your pain. I say this same thing every outing it seems! I think I may be worse off however.

It's a good thing for you the title isn't handed out on May 1. You've only got 130 or so games to improve.

Well a month later from the original post, and I still have the worst pitching staff in the league. My ERA is up to 4.60. Do I keep telling myself it will turn around? Honestly I have no idea what to do. I thought this staff would have me RUNNING AWAY with the pitching categories. (And this is with Lackey coming off the DL and pitching well and also acquiring Cordero and Sherrill)
