Rate my Team WHIR - Five Years Experience in $$$ Leagues

What you guys thinking here? Have some traditional slow starters on my team, so far I am in 5th place...I think once I get going my team should be alot more competitive than the 5th spot though.

zero pieces of advice?

is my pitching staff good enough to get me through the year? i like having a 1,2,3 of santana, oswalt and big z once the first two settle in a bit.

what is up with oswalt? is he going to turn it around? his fantasy numbers last year were not overly impressive but i got good value with him taking him pretty darn late for a pitcher as consistent in the past as he is.

Jeter is currently a top 10 SS but is on the decline. I would expect his numbers to consistently decrease.

Not a JDrew fan and not high on Hermida either.

Your staff is solid.

Oswalt will produce better numbers than last season. He's a durable pitcher with solid WHIP and K rates. He won't reach 20 wins (mainly because the Stros are in rebuild mode), but there are far worst to have on your staff.

I would consider packaging him or Hudson along with JDrew (when he gets hot) for a top 10 OF - a Sizemore, BJ Upton, or Crawford perhaps?

Please take a look at mine.

Pitching is great but your hitting is in decline. Jeter, Abreu and V-tek or on decline. Decent team though.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I may need to trade one of my good starts for a big bat mid way through the year or something.

Maybe I should start letting people know Johan is available? I don't think I'll trade him either way, but it'd be fun to get some offers.

P.S I gave six people help this morning with their team and I'm not sure a single one returned the favor.

Is there a more active forum than this because this place seems to have gone down the tubes?
