Pitching options

Postby Cubsfan2803 » Thu Apr 10, 2008 3:13 pm

Right now my pitching is in a sort of mess. My staff is..

Jake Peavy (SD - SP)
Tim Lincecum (SF - SP)
Adam Wainwright (StL - SP)
John Smoltz (Atl - SP)
Mariano Rivera (NYY - RP)
Pat Neshek (Min - RP)
Jeff Francis (Col - SP)
Chien-Ming Wang (NYY - SP)
Rich Harden (Oak - SP)
Joe Borowski (Cle - RP)
J.J. Putz (Sea - RP) DL
John Lackey (LAA - SP) DL

John Smoltz coming off the DL helped alot but with Lackey and Putz both on the DL it has been hurting me. Also it looks like Harding is off to the DL again, I was expecting this but not so soon. I am in an 8 team h2h league. This week with Joe Borowski's 108.00 era and 12.00 whip combind with Pat Neshek's 40.50 era and 4.50 whip both of those stats are hurting. I am also not getting much k's sv's or IP out of them.

I think I need to be dropping a few players to pick up others both in SP and RP, what can you suggest? Rp there is Jeremy Guthrie(also SP), Brian Wilson, Rafael Betancourt, Jeremy Accardo, and Jonathan Broxton down... I was look a lot at Ryan Dempster, he seems to be awesome right now. Sp there is Oliver Pérez, Tom Gorzelanny, Andy Pettitte, Ubaldo Jiménez, and Zack Greinke sown. There is also Francisco Liriano and Pedro Martínez but they are NA and DL's so I am trying to avoid that.

Our scoring categories are R, H, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, DPT, W, SHO, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, NH and positions C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, Util, Util, SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL

Thanks for any help, I think this was the right form to post this in but if not sorry :-S
