Re: Just traded for more pitching, how's my team? *whir*

You have a solid team, but no speed to speak of. If it's a H2H, I would punt the category, but if this is a Roto, I'd look to acquire some speed by dealing some power.

A little help with mine?

Thanks for he help with mine!

Like the person above me said, your team lacks speed for a roto league. Look to acquire some speed, maybe off the WW.

Victorino (and hopefully Ellsbury) will be better than any speed I get off the WW, 40 steal potential to compliment Upton and Young. I just have no room to play him.

Thx for the comment

Well, I agree with the comments above about speed. Victorino would help a lot in that area but as you said he just can't start over any of your current starters. The only solution I can think of is to package maybe Hafner and one of the OF for another good OF with some wheels, something like that. Also, since your league counts OPS I would seriously considering adding Billy Butler if he's available as that's one of his best stats (should definitely be around .800). I like him a lot more than Milledge anyway and since OPS is counted it seems like a no brainer to me.

i really like your team. your glaring weakness if RP, but that is something an attentive manager can fix as the season is underway. i think you'll finish about 5th or 6th in steals but right near the top in HR & RBI. i think you are sittin pretty and shouldn't trade HR for SB. at the worst you could give ellsbury or victorino a few spot starts against favorable matchups/catchers, you have enough power to afford this now and then.

Thanks for your help with mine. I think being that it's a roto league you're actually ok with speed. You won't win the category, but I doubt you come in last either. The only spot that I don't like is your utility with Hafner (and I'm an Indians fan). He is struggling pretty bad right now. Maybe swap Pierre in for him or even Victorino so you have some production from that spot in your lineup.
By the way, your top 4 starters give you amazing depth, even for a 10 team league. Good team, should compete for the title, barring any major injuries.
