Well, I can't say I'm shocked but...

The guy isn't even worth a WW pick anymore...BJ Ryan update at the bottom (nothing major).

DUNEDIN, Fla. (AP)—Blue Jays third baseman Scott Rolen said Thursday his broken right middle finger could sideline him for six weeks.

Acquired from St. Louis in an offseason trade, Rolen was injured when was hit on the hand by a ball during a fielding drill Sunday on a back field. A screw was inserted in his finger during surgery Monday.

“The doctor gave a four-to-six week window from the time of surgery,” said Rolen, whose team beat the Houston Astros 8-3 in a spring game Thursday.

Dustin McGowan allowed three runs and four hits in seven innings for the Blue Jays. He struck out four and walked four.

“It was just a couple bad innings,” McGowan said. “I just battled through it and got my pitches in.”

Brandon Backe had a rocky outing for the Astros, allowing six runs and 11 hits in 5 1-3 innings. He walked two and struck out two.

Hector Luna hit a three-run homer and finished with four RBIs for Toronto. Buck Coats also homered.

Darin Erstad went 2-2 with a double for Houston.

Toronto closer B.J. Ryan (left elbow) will face minor leaguers on Sunday.
