Why does Beltran get no love.
There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

3. Soriano
4. Beltran (Or Larry Walker if you talk to Erboes, LOL)
5. Vlad

BTW, j/k about Walker, no need for more condescending remarks.

Todd Helton is underrated; that's the best thing about him...
I did the math; in my pool (point system) he was the second or third most valuable player to have. Yet, he was picked in the second round (of a 14 team pool!).

Therefore, I plan on getting 2 first round picks in the first 2 rounds by taking Helton in the second round. If the guys in your leagues are dumb enough to leave him that long, then I suggest you use the same strategy!

PS. He put on 30 lbs (of muscle, I hope!) during the offseason and was quoted saying, "I am strong like bull!"

He should never last to the 2nd round. I have him as the number 6 pick overall and everyone I know has him in the top-10. If it makes it that far I'd be amazed and it'd be the steal of the century.

My leagues draft went:

Pujols
Helton
Arod
soriano
vlad

this was a crazy draft, I personally would've taken soriano with the 3rd pick.

I'd probably go with Soriano at #3 (in 5x5, at least), but I'd very strongly consider Prior as well.

And agreed, Helton is an absolutely fantastic player who shouldn't slip.
