I've done 2 mock drafts and in both of them Chris Carpenter was selected almost last. He is going to be ready to go by season start. He was nasty a few years ago but he got injured first game of the season last year. Look out for him cause he can be a good 16-17 rd pick maybe later

really, I heard he'd be back by the start of season. I guess my source was unreliable... Better go release him of my team

The question is whether it's going to be before the All-Star break, after the All-Star break or somewhere in between
Somewhere in between before and after the all-star break must mean at the all-star break~.
I don't see him being ready early in the season. I also don't see them rushing him back if the team gets off to a slow start. He is certainly a good grab in the last few rounds and stash on the DL type guy.

He might be good for one month. And no, not everyone is forgetting him. I am wiling to bet that he gets drafted in all my leagues.

Yeah, don't count on much. We'll be double-digit games back by the ASB and they're not going to rush him; there's no reason to.

Patently undraftable except in deep leagues.

I can only hope he is drafted (by someone else) in all of my leagues, and at least four rounds too early.
