I love your IF and SP's. While I also question Arroyo you are using him as a #6 SP so it will not kill you if you need to drop him. I think your OF could use some help but do think your IF will carry you fine. Keep an eye out to pick up a hot shot OF that gets off to a hot start and watch for a closer and you should be good to go.

Team looks good, far from great, and for that, you might wind up being average. Offense is solid, love the infield. OF isn't too bad either. Your pitching is shallow behind Bedard and Webb and I think that's your Achilles heel. Myers and Maine are the keys to your staff. Your closers aren't the most stable lot either.

the offense was obviously my main goal in compiling my team...considering it is an ops league. With holds being the extra category for pitching, it kind of devalues pitching to me a bit. Plus it is a head to head, not roto...so i can usually win pitching simply with quantity...throw as many guys on the mound as you can:

W - pitch the most pitchers, usually win
ERA - may lose/may win
WHIP - may lose/may win
SV - 4 closers should win most of the time
K - pitch the most pitchers, usually win
HLD - 3-4 holds guys should win

I guess i just look at it as worst case scenario, i should at least break even with my pitching and maybe better. Hopefully with my offense i can win in nearly all of those cats each week....I may have a skewed view of how to play H2H, but it has worked for me in the past...at least it might help explain why i'm so offense heavy in this league :-?

The team looks real good. Arroyo will probably hurt you more than help you, so I would try to pick up someone else other than him. I'm not big on Pierre either. He gets SBs but every other category especially OPS he is terrible in.
