Think you're smart? Enlighten me...

10 team, AL Only, 20 Round draft, HtoH format league. Also, in our league if you keep a guy, you lose the draft pick in the round he was drafted in the previous year. I have the following players (w/ their draft round in paranthesis) I consider as possible keepers...Sizemore (20), Butler (18), Markakis (10), Chamberlain (20), A. Jones (20), Liriano (20), Longoria (20), Johjima (17), Peralta (16), Hughes (16), Meche (15), Kendrick (7), Bedard (6), Street (5), Lackey (4), Hafner (4), Ibanez (4).

I can keep three. Sizemore is a definite. Who should be my other 2?

Personally, I would keep Bedard and Lackey with Sizemore.

That would give you two of the top 10 starters in the AL (Johan, CC, Beckett, Carmona, Kazmir, Dice-K, Kelvim Escobar, Verlander being the other 8, IMO) and an absolute top 5 player in the AL.

Then I think you could grab back Markakis with your first pick then focus on the middle of your infield.

I would go Sizemore, Bedard and Hafner, but I could see a reasoning for going the other way as well.

I'd hate to keep 2 out of 3 pitchers, but Sizemore/Lackey/Bedard gives you 3 guys in the top 10 for AL only

Hm I've never done a AL only, but I might lean toward Markakis and Liriano. I'm probably completely off base, but if Liriano pitches like we know he can he'll be a steal at his pick.

Sizemore (20)
Hafner (4)
Bedard (6)

Tough not keeping Markakis !+) , but Hafner is a better savings and I expect him to rebound.
Can you hear me now?
