Yankee fans can only hope. O:-)

As can Twins fans. B-)

If the Tigers make a run in the next couple years, it will likely stand as a good deal. But if they fall short I could see them really regretting this move.
Kudos to GiantsFan14 for the sig.

can anyone offer some insight into rabello. I'm having trouble finding a more recent scouting report and with catchers stats aren't always all that helpful.

Also, curious if anyone has found out who the other specs are. I'm thinking something like hamilton, crosby, da la cruz, and tahern assuming they're all pitchers.

Only thisn that I know about Rabello is that I have a TON of his rookie cards.
For some reason I kept pulling them

A haul like this has got to make the Twins feel a little needier.

I meant in terms of what they want for Santana, not in an effort to match Detroit.

Okay, so what is Detroits batting order looking like now? Still trying to absorb this...

1. Curtis Granderson
2. Edgar Renteria
3. Magglio Ordonez
4. Miguel Cabrera
5. Gary Sheffield
6. Carlos Guillen
7. Placido Polanco
8. Ivan Rodriguez
9. Marcus Thames

Maybe Edgar and Polanco switch spots, I dunno.

The short answer would be RIDONKULOUS!

No wonder I couldn't wrap my head around it, yikes. Talk about a well balanced team.

And DET would have what for a starting rotation?

Verlander, Bonderman, Robertson, DTrain, KRogers? (no particular order) Rogers is still on DET right?

Rabello was the back-up to Pudge last year due to an injury to the regular back-up C. He did very well in that role. However, I don't see him being anything special.

I wonder who the other 3 prospects in the deal are? One of them isn't Porcello is it?
