Burks is not an ageless wonder, but you will see a gradual drop off. He has not started to drop off yet, but will in the coming years. A perfect signing for the boston bench. No fantasy value though. 200 at bats.

At least this answers those that had delusions that Ortiz is guaranteed more plate appearances this year.

I posted this topic yesterday and had one answer(thanx mom!!). So maybe ill get an answer now. With Burks on board what are the numbers for Ortiz looking like? 30 hr´s again?

I'd expect Ortiz to still get the majority of the playing time, and I do expect him to get near 30 homeruns. Remember, the Yanks don't have a lefty starter, the O's have no real starters of note, and the Blue Jays have two, but they aren't that special. He'll get plenty of at-bats.
