what do you think is the best option for fantasy baseball

I'm a yahoo fantasy guy.....but a lot of my league complained about the limited options as far as rules and scoring.

What service provides the best gamesmenship?

i also play only on yahoo. (i play ultimate FBB on TSN, but that is a diferent kind of game)

one of my new leagues that i started this year is considering using TQ stats. from what iver heard it is very customizable and fairly easy to use. i heard this all from the grapevine though, so take that for what it's worth

Yahoo is extremely customizeable from a scoring standpoint, and in the rules too.
What are the exact concerns that your league members are complaining about?

If anyone knows a scoring method or catagory that Yahoo doesnt offer - what is it?

here are the complaints
(bracketed are my responses to the complaints originally)

Each week should be a win, loss, or tie, not 3-6-2.
(i also would like this...but it isn't an option....maybe it will be when yahoo relaunches the game site in march)

I'd also like to see the 4 game All-Star week not count.
(ditto)

We should also do something to stop the race to the computer to pick up free agents. Maybe everyone is always on waivers so you'll get them based on your waiver priority.
(football has everyone on waivers...with a rolling waiver priority...this would be ideal for fa's and a great way to combat mooching...again, hopefully it will be an option)

Well, that is interesting. Yahoo cannot accomodate those points you made.
Im pretty sure they only do 3-4-3 sort of scoring in 5x5 H2H, however, if you switch to H2H points, I think it is how you want it - 1 -0 for a win. Although I doubt that s what you want.

the 4 game all star week is unnatural in H2H modes, I agree. I doubt there is anything you can do to customize that out of Yahoo. Does anyone know of a sight that has this issue correctly solved for H2H leagues?

Im not 100% on this, but I think you can keep the entire free agent pool on Waivers in Yahoo if you want. Anyone know for sure?

What are your leagues thoughts on playing Roto? That would solve the first 2 problems pronto.

After the draft all the players go on Waivers unless you have the Waiver time set to 0.

then as yahoo adds players they go on the WW as well.

this is the way it was last year.

head to head results in the goofy scoring of 9-3 instead of simply giving it a win.

    we score
Offensive cats: AVG, OBP, R, RBI, SB, 2b, 3b, HR

    Pitching cats: W, L CG, OUTS, ERA, WHIP, K, S, H

(WE ARE NOW GOING TO HAVE A MOVE CAP, SINCE LAST YEAR SOME GM'S TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE RULES AND MOOCHED STARTERS EVERY DAY)
