I take this as really good news. Do you think he'll come back in as the closer or back to SP?
ive posted this so many times i hope its true, but the phillies are reporting they arent even considering putting myers back in the rotation this season.
Jun 13 The Phillies are now saying that Myers (shoulder) is out at least another two weeks, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Recommendation: Initial reports had suggested that Myers could be activated by Monday, but he'll need to make a minor-league rehab stint and was just able to begin throwing off of a mound on Tuesday. Antonio Alfonseca will hold onto the closer's role for what appears to be the rest of June.

Stephen Miller, of The Morning Call, reports Philadelphia Phillies CL Brett Myers (shoulder) is not expected to return until the end of June, despite him throwing off the mound for the first time Tuesday, June 12. Myers has said he feels he can return as early as June 18, but GM Pat Gillick is not going to rush him back onto the field. RP Antonio Alfonseca will hold down closing duties until Myers is able to return.
