completely revamped rotation...fully loaded? WHIR

Postby Rapps5 » Sun May 27, 2007 1:05 pm

this team is currently in 9th or 10th out of 10 in ERA, WHIP, Wins, and Ks. I have made multiple trades and picked up some hot FAs and my rotation looks great (in my opinion). I really like the potential of this pitching staff now and I just hope I didn't kill my offense too much with the trades I made for Beckett and Zito. I've changed about 10% of my roster over the last week and am excited to see what happens with this team over the course of the next few weeks (especially when Schmidt comes back). Please let me know what you think of this squad and where extra strengths and weaknesses may be. Please don't hold back and leave a link if you need some help. thanks very much.

Thanks for the opinions on my thread...

I'll admit yes your pitching staff does look nice, Willis & Zito have no where to go but up in improving their current numbers.

Would you be able to post some of the free agent hitters that you got in your league at the moment? it does look like you can use some improvements there now. I'm not all that impressed by Byrnes, as I think he'll level out at some point in the season and regress again. Sexson has good power...but he's hurting you in the K & AVG department badly at the moment...

I'd say you have a nice rotation going there.

You've got decent power also and I think you'll do nicely, depending on what the other teams in your league look like. ... p?t=292363

Looks pretty darn good. I might try to upgrade on Filipe Lopez, but your offense has balance. Your pitching staff is full of guys who can only get better from here on out.

I'm curious, though, what you gave up to get Zito.

If you have time, help me out? ... p?t=292446
