Phil Hughes threw 35 pitches off a mound Wednesday in his first bullpen session since suffering a strained left hamstring.

Hughes' next mound session will come Friday or Saturday.

He'll probably be back in about 3 weeks I hoping.I'll bench him his 1st start when he comes back, just to see how he holds up.If his 1st start back is good,I'll be starting him every week after that.

Per Rotoworld 5/21/07:

Phil Hughes threw 25 pitches Monday during his first session on a half-mound since straining his left hamstring three weeks ago. Hughes, who was deemed out 4-6 weeks when he got hurt May 1, has missed three weeks already and probably won't be back in the majors for another month at least.
