i think your smart and have been platooning your 2b, with the combo esp how easley has been that is serviceable. i think your having more bad luck than anything considering your top hitter and who should be your top pitcher havent helped you at all. see if you can combo duch or soriano along with griffey as a sell high. team looks pretty good. wouldnt make any huge moves until 2 weeks or so

Hmm, 2B seems to be your only weakness on offense. I might try and sell high on Posada, depending on who's a FA out there.

Your pitching looks good, though I might try and drop Carmona, I don't see him keeping it up, but the rest looks good, especially WHEN Zambrano turns it around.

Help.

2nd base is clearly ur biggest hitting weakness and i agree that u should see wat u can get for posada because hes bound to come down (ryan doumit is a guy who could be a nice FA pickup at catcher). also, it seems like u might be weak on power seeing that ur OF isnt really HR hitters.

with ur closers/set up guys u dont really have any big K guys. im not a big fan of the wickman/todd jones types, but i guess thats personal preference.

at this point i think u have to just wait out zambrano

id appreciate the help:

Posada, trade, now! He's gettin old, and plays the hardest position on the body. He's due for a dl stint. YOu can always get some kind of catcher on the WW and get yourself a 2b.

Help me out!

Not too many FA catchers worth anything. Doumit is long-gone. Think the better answer is to deal young or furcal for a decent second baseman. Figgins has been awful but he's going to swipe 30 bags I think and has a lot of eligibility. Freel is also a possibility. Dumped Carmona after last night's start (he was cruising until that soul-crushing homerun to sweeney that tied the game. with 2 outs no less) ah well. Doesn't K anyone. For now I am just rolling with Kazmir, Lincecum, and Young every time out to keep on pace innings wise. Dave Bush is available so might add him nito the mix.
