In a money league with some friends, however, trying to keep this fair.

Trade 1
Team A gets
D. Wright and Saito
Team B gets
Fielder and Marquis

Explanation. We are in a points only league where saves are worth as much as a win, and max inning cap. Team B is trading away one of only 2 cp.

Trade 2
Team C gets
M. Cabrera, B. Jenks, D. Otriz
Team D gets
A. Pujols, Raph. Soriano, J. Maine, and Atkins

Just dont see how Team C is improving.

I don't fully understand this question, but I'll try to answer it.

Because Fielder is the #1 1B in fantasy right now, and Marquis is very hot, a trade that looked vetoable on draft day (trade 1 in this post) is not vetoable, IMO.

Trade #2 is totally even. I don't see how you can say that Team C isn't improving when he is getting Pujols.

Neither trade is vetoable in my honest opinion.
