Before we murder the guy for his post, he did say keeper not dynasty league. I can tell you that in my keeper league I would not be in position to keep Phillip Hughes based on our league settings. In my league we are only allowed to keep 5 players and a 6th for a luxury tax. It's a 12 team league, and there is no way I'd have any intentions of keeping Hughes over Johan Santana, Vlad Guerrero, Vernon Wells, Victor Martinez, Scott Kazmir, Rich Hill, Garrett Atkins, BJ Upton, Carlos Guillen just to name a few guys. That said, Hughes is likely to be healthy well in advance of Pedro, and for that fact, as well as the fact he should get his share of wins with the Yankees lineup backing him, I'd stash Hughes. At that time if he gets activated and Pedro is still available stash him... no harm in making the most of your DL slot.
