Ok so...this has basically been a season in which the fantasy Gods have blessed me on one of my teams (wish i could say the same for some of my other ones :-b )

12 Team Yahoo! H2H league, 5x5 Cats.

My Current Roster stands at:

C - Michael Barrett (ChC - C)
1B - Gary Sheffield (Det - 1B,OF)
2B - B.J. Upton (TB - 2B,3B)
3B - Alex Rodriguez (NYY - 3B)
SS - Julio Lugo (Bos - 2B,3B,SS)
OF - Vladimir Guerrero (LAA - OF)
OF - Carlos Lee (Hou - OF)
OF - Sammy Sosa (Tex - OF)
Util - Barry Bonds (SF - OF)
BN - Bobby Abreu (NYY - OF)
BN - Carlos Delgado (NYM - 1B)

SP - Dontrelle Willis (Fla - SP)
SP - Bronson Arroyo (Cin - SP)
RP - Jason Isringhausen (StL - RP)
RP - Brian Fuentes (Col - RP)
P - Al Reyes (TB - RP)
P - Cole Hamels (Phi - SP)
P - Erik Bedard (Bal - SP)
BN - Tim Hudson (Atl - SP)
BN - A.J. Burnett (Tor - SP)
BN - Tim Lincecum (SF - SP) NA

Getting A-Rod and Vlad on the same team wasn't easy, and i made a couple trades early to secure my offense.

First trade:
I gave: Khalil Greene, John Lackey
I got: Julio Lugo, Cole Hamels

Second trade
I gave: MCab, Vernon Wells and Beckett
I got: A-Rod, Carlos Lee and Bedard

^ The ultimate sell high on Beckett's huge start.

But now comes the killer:

I was offered: Johan Santana
For my: Abreu and Hamels

I don't know how but so many things fell into place for me to land A-Rod, Vlad and Johan on one team....The Johan trade i was worried about getting vetoed but the guy really needs another OF and iam giving him great value with Hamels, who will finish in the top 5 in NL strikeouts. Some people even think i might be giving too much, but iam getting first round talent Moreso, this solidifies my pitching and gives me a true ace. This might be the best and most balanced team i've ever had after 6 years of fantasy baseball.

Simply put, if i don't take the championship in this league, (barring injuries), i will quit fantasy baseball ;-D

Any thoughts are appreciated you guys...leave a link and i will be sure to help you out!

In a non keeper league, I make that deal for Johan in a heartbeat too.

Sheff woke up so plugging him for Abreu is not bad at all.
Johan solidifies a staff that could get you an ERA of 2 or 20 on any given week, lol. Your closers look solid as of now and if they hold up I'd say you have a good chance. The only thing I'd wish you luck on is hoping 1 or 2 of those other starters outside of Johan and Arroyo get it together on a consistent level.

Sweet looking team and awesome trades! Now see if you can swing any deals on Reyes, Bonds and Sosa while their value is high, get yourself Utley and Rivera :-b
