So, here's a kid with a 2.79 ERA, a WHIP of 1.10, and 26Ks in 29 innings. This becomes even more impressive when you consider that, in his past 4 starts (against the Braves, Phils (twice) and Mets), he's gone 25.1 innings, allowing 6 runs, 11 hits, and 10BB while striking 25 out.
Folks, that's just nuts. Sure, he's unlikely to get you wins, but he's got a good pitching park and a good defense behind him, and as long as he keeps missing bats, he should be money. Note that he hasn't even gotten a chance to face the weaker-hitting rest-of-the-NL yet.
It's looking more and more like he'll be a solid option in deeper leagues and if he keeps the Ks up, maybe even in shallower ones as well.
