Check out this roster.... I know i have a little tweaking to do...

Johnny Estrada, and Ronnie Paulino at C
Adam La Rouche 1B .... dropping him for Kevin Youkalis
Brandon Phillips 2B ... picking up BJ Upton... he's eligible at 2B
A-Rod at 3B
Derek Jeter SS
Johnny Damon OF
JD Drew OF
Alex Rios OF
Gary Sheffield OF
Nick Swisher OF
Eric Chavez Utility
Jim Thome utility

For Pitchers I got...

Bronson Arroyo
Josh Beckett
Boof Bonser... dropping for Jose Valverde
AJ Burnett
Johnathan Papplebon
Andy Pettitte
Chris Ray
Adam Wainright

Let me know what you guys think. I'm trying to pick up James Shields P and Chris Duncan OF off of waivers right now. My league is a CBS roto league, and our stats are BA, HR, RBI, and SB and pitching ERA, W, Saves, and WHIP. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks guys

Chris Duncan

I just wanted to let you know ive tried using Chris duncan. The only problem with him is he splits time. He does have a very high average but he only has 89 Ab while most players are already around the 115's. He is a good pick up though

Thanks I appreciate the advise. Our league is still on waivers until Fri.... so we'll see who is available after that. I forgot to mention that my league is 10 teams. anyone else with advise?

I would drop Adam Wainright or Pettite for Valverde if I was going to do that move. I like Bonser and he has been pitching "better" as of late. As long as he keeps the ball in the park he will fair allright. I do not realistically think Pettite will replicate his good ol' day Yankee numbers and he had a 4+ ERA in the national Legaue Central last year as opposed to facing the BoSox, Jays, and Rays lineups more often than not this year.

Also before dropping LaRoche for Youk see if Dan Johnson is available.

I just don't think Dan Johnson is a viable option yet.... I think he has a little more to prove. If I was in an AL only league, then maybe. Keep your eye on him though, I think he'll still be hot in mid may.

you realize the majority of your players are not only in the AL but in the AL East Yankees fan?

yeah i relize that, and your right i'm not only a Yankee's fan, i'm THE yankee's fan. But if you look at the league, i'd say most of the best players in the league play in the AL.
