I'd grab Vlad in the first round and get either Kent or B. Boone in the second. :-)

Points league? Not even a close match!!! On his best year Sorianos was a great second baseman but felt behind guys like Manny and Vlad for elite status. Points league im talking about remember

He will also get more abs than alfonso 2.

LBJackal wrote:wow, a lot of people taking vlad over soriano? in a points league??? remember, average doesn't matter. they will put up comparable numbers, while soriano is at 2B. you can get a very productive OF late in the draft, but if you don't get one of the top 2B's, you're screwed.

to me, in a points league you HAVE to take soriano over Vlad.

I dissagree. Its not about the average but having a higher average means more hits. He gets more on base and he strikeouts lessVlad is a more productive hitter and i think out of that turf in Montreal his back will be fine
