With all the information available on the internet now, I don't really buy any of them. I used to buy the Sporting News one but I think I can dig out the information for myself now.
You don't have to like 'em to own 'em!!!!

Yes doctor, I am sick.

In our league we coduct our auction by going through every player listed in Street and Smith, team by team. By february when the magazine hits the news stands there is not much infromation not avialable everywhere, but it is fun buying the magazine to get me even more psyched up for the baseball season

i always pick up the sporting news, just because its nice to have something concrete and all put together nicely instead of random sheets i wrote out or printed......for 5 bucks its worthwhile.

I don't think any magazines help that much except for having an idea what the other guys in your league are looking at. That being said, I think the Sporting News is the biggest. It is out there earliest, which might be a bad thing since it may be the most outdated.
