It looks great, although anything next to Metrodome looks like a masterpiece. I think that whole downtown area where it's being built is going to be a fun place to be once this stadium is built. Fairly reasonable measurements and pine trees in center to capture some of Minnesota's essence. Can't wait for it to open.

It's not scheduled to be open until 2010 but I it will be well worth the wait. Anything is better then the Inflatable Toilet we have now.

We got an inch of snow last night and the high temperature hasnt been above 45 for almost two weeks. Not having a roof his a HUGE mistake. Still it looks really sweet ;-D

The no roof will create some obvious postponements but I don't think it's that big of a deal. Chicago has survived without roofs and they have the same amount of inclement weather during those months and they have survived. It should only be a problem during the first week or so of the season and during the latter part of the playoffs. In the first instance I would imagine that they would start the season on the road.

I don't mind not having a roof. There might be postponements but convenience isn't worth 100 million dollars more of tax payers money. The only people that are really upset about not having a roof are outstate Minnesotans but they don't have any right to be upset because their legislators voted for no stadium at all. If it was up to them the Twins wouldn't be in Minnesota in 2010, so I don't have any sympathy for the outstate people having to drive back because of a cancelled game.

I did think the stadium was going to be a little more unique. Minus the pine trees it looks like every other new ballpark. They should do more with the trees. It kind of looks dumb just to have a 20 foot area marked off for some pine trees to make the stadium seem unique.
