I just drafted this team and think it's pretty solid. The only stupid move I think I made was taking BRob ahead of McCann. I also took Morneau ahead of Rollins, but I think that'll work out fine. What do I need to work on?

10 TEAM H2H STANDARD CATS

C Russell Martin
1B Justin Morneau
2B Brian Roberts
3B Chipper Jones
SS Michael Young
OF Alfonso Soriano
OF Carlos Lee
OF Johnny Damon
Util Paul Konerko
BN Raúl Ibañez
BN Howie Kendrick

SP Scott Kazmir
SP Aaron Harang
RP Takashi Saito
RP Salomón Torres
P Dan Haren
P Ervin Santana
P A.J. Burnett
BN Barry Zito
BN Octavio Dotel

Hmm, for a 10 teamer your pitching looks a bit too shaky. The staff can be good, but there are a lot of risk factors involved that I don't think would all work out. Burnett and Zito kind of sum that area up. Your Relief core is also pretty weak for a 10 teamer, but that can be fixed in the course of this season with the ever turning revolving door of closers. Saito may take the path of most Japanese - to - MLB pitchers and tank. Torres is playing for a poor team is not a great pitcher himself. The same can be said for Dotel, but he's already on the DL - who knows what hell bring. The offense looks great but I think you need to improve your SP via trade and your RP through the FA later on in the year when a closer comes through on waivers.

Can you please analyze my team too?

Looks like your starters can get some k's, but they pitch for some suspect teams which will cost you wins. As stated in previous post above, trade for SP help. If you can find a package that would include a SP with win potential along with Joel Zumaya or Johnaton Broxton, you can get some w's and not lose out on k's.

Let me know what you think of mine
