The Artful Dodger:
Love the infield - three studs and a solid second baseman. Lots of young guns for your SPs too, and I like them all aside from Prior obviously. No stud closer, and both of yours could lose their jobs eventually (not sure what the plan with Aki in Texas is - when Gagne comes back will he have the job?). Nice job getting Homer Bailey... he could potentially help your team this season, which is a nice bonus.
Your outfield is studly. Not a big fan of your infield though, but it looks like you waited to pick them up in the later rounds anyways. Really nice set of relief pitchers - stud closer in Nathan, a very underappreciated one in Chris Ray, Cordero/Valverde/Torres are solid, and I expect Broxton to take the closer's role this season.
Solid hitting team. ARod is looking like a God so far this season, though you lack speed with only Ichiro a big threat for bases. I can't say I'm a fan of your pitching very much - I do like Schmidt and Wainwright, but with only one closer (who's on the hot seat) it might pose a problem for you. Like that you have Miller and Braun in your minors.
Some nice power hitting, but you lack speed. I think you'll be ok with Damon's injury since you have Byrnes to slide in there to replace him. Love your top three starting pitcher core of Lackey, Verlander, and Harang. Big time K pitchers right there. Three solid closers as well. Adam Miller down on the farm for you - he should be up this season.
Omaha Red Sox:
Great outfield - Soriano and Sizemore speak for themselves, and Chris Young could go 20-20 this season. Infield looks solid, though I'm not a fan of Polanco. Webb is a great fantasy ace, and Zito could be in for a big year with San Fran. Took some chances on others like Cabrera, and if he can harness his control and keep those walks down he could be a steal. Really nice minors as well.
Great looking infield - I think it speaks for itself, and I'm expecting nice things out of Encanarcion this season. Not a great outfield, but it looks solid enough. Starting pitching looks great (aside from Boomer) and you have the top closer, plus Paps and Cordero, who aren't slouches either. And you have Hirsh in the minors - had an amazing game last night for my Rockies!
Really nice infield as well. Those guys are going to all have big years. Drew in the 11th might be a nice pickup as well if he can stay healthy. Liking your starting pitching alot, relief pitching not so much. Weathers and Reyes might get a few saves, but both of those closer situations are ones I like to avoid if possible. Hughes on the farm is awesome, and you have Franklin Morales, who I love and hope he gets a cup of coffee this season for the Rockies.
Piazza is going to have a huge season not that he doesn't have to catch at all. There's my boy Helton as well, he's looked great so far as he's been driving the ball to the opposite field. Utley is of course a stud, and Stephen Drew can only get better. Too bad Figgins is injured, I have him on some teams as well. Two studs as your top starters with Oswalt and Peavy. Another two studs in the closers spot. Gordon is great to have on the farm as he's already starting now and could have a nice year; same thing with Iannetta.
Solid corner infielders, and Kinsler is a very underrated guy at 2B. Really like the Markakis and Zimmerman picks as well - they are both guys I tried to target in drafts. You have the God himself Johan Santana and Matt Cain - nice! Ryan is a top closer, and Fuentes is solid. You've got two guys in the minors who will contribute this season with Tulo and Lind, plus Billy Butler who is a big time power hitter.
Not liking your infield much. Really like your outfield with Beltran and Delmon in there. Hafner is another one of those guys I love to have on my teams because he's just so darn good. Couple of sleeper starting pitchers with Capuano and Hill (nice start yesterday for him). Closers are shaky, so hope that Izzy can stay healthy all year. Nice minors with Wood and hopefully Tankersley (should take over closers role sometime this season).
That's a Godly looking outfield. They're not getting any younger, but still put up great numbers. Got some nice speed in the infield too. Dice K sure looked worthy of that 6th round pick in his first start, hopefully a sign of things to come (even though I get annoyed hearing about how great he is 24/7 on ESPN). Sabathia and Smoltz are both great too - and I see you took an old hometown favorite in JJ. Hoffman is a nice closer too though it would have been nice if you had two closers or more. Dukes already has two home runs, I wonder if he can keep the job all season... not doing anything wrong at this point!
You already go up a notch in my book since you have Atkins and Holliday
, and add that in with Ortiz, Dye, and Lopez you have a nice offense. Barfield is underrated and San Diego will regret trading him IMO. King Felix had an amazing first start - will this be the year he lives up to the hype and becomes a fantasy ace? Halladay is of course already an ace. Nothing wrong with Willis and Moose either. I don't expect Saito to keep the closer's job this season, but he'll still get some saves. Everything I've heard about Longoria makes me wish the Rockies would have taken him over Greg Reynolds, though Reynolds has been solid thus far too.
