Looks great. I would cros my fingers on the #b situation. I feel Gordon is "Zims 07 this year" but with more SB's. Very well rounded and the pitching is dynamite.

I think you need one true SB guy that can get you 50-60. You will have to do some whealing and dealing but give it time. Is Taveras or Duffy on the WW?

Thanks.

I agree on the need for speed. I'll have to trade. There aren't steals on the wire.

I'm just a beginner but i'll give you some quick newb thoughts anyway...

I think your pitching is very strong. If you desperately want steals maybe flip a pitcher or a pitcher and another minor bat to get some steals.

Though Dunn is great on power numbers I can't handle that low batting average. I'd send out feelers and see if you can land a different quality bat for him.

So overall good job! ;-D

Thanks very much. I agree on the pitching.

I've offered Burnett for Furcal (he autodrafted Reyes, too).

In this league, it's OBP, and Dunn's surprisingly good at runs. I consider I got a very under-rated player with this format.

If you are counting games played, Delgado and Duncan won't help you alot. Maybe try and package the two together for a better Of'er and then play Jackson at 1B.

The team looks solide with the exception of IF. Both SS and 2B are risky. Maybe get more depth on the bench.

Nice, you got Ja-honny at short. Anyway, I also agree about the Dunn situation, he's in the 2 slot now and if he can keep his average up he'll be great for you. Too bad you don't start till the 9th, I'm sure you saw his 2 dingers against my cubbies yesterday.

Like your outfield, love your pitching. Rich Hill could be a monster this year (and I'm not saying that as a Cub guy). I wanted Nathan, I'm in the process of claiming Ray.

How many teams in your league, just curious.

12 teams.

I just traded Gordon and Ray for BJ Ryan and BJ Upton. That should take care of steals, solidify my closers, and provide insurance for Kendrick.

Now, I'll play Teahan as my everyday 3B and shuttle Upton b/n 2nb and 3rd.

I also dropped Chuck James for Saloman Torres to have a third closer with Wheeler and Broxton there for vulture opportunities.

I'm trying to trade Burnett for Furcal, too.
