No, I wouldn't. You are in good shape for your pitching IMO, and trading Billingsley will damage it. I don't think Torres will be the closer all year long, but he should give you 20 saves. Neshek should also give you a lot of holds.

I would wait on trading for Billingsley.

I agree, your pitching is good as it is now in regards to holds and saves.

I would love to own Billingsley in a dynasty league, but then you have one closer in a 20 team league. I think Torres will be successful in the chances he gets. You also already have 2 young arms with good upside. I would also say pass at this point.!/baseballcafe

I'm going to buck the others and say pull the trigger. Unless we're talking about a top-tier, long-term closer, I believe it's worth it. In this particular situation, you're being offered a great young arm at a reasonable price. Also consider Capps may very well take the closer gig from Torres mid-season.

It's a gamble with Billingsley, but I'd roll the dice.

Well, I'd wait and see how Torres does as a closer, even if he does it decently, I wouldn't.
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.
