A-rod talks STILL alive !!!

Postby Talking_A-rod_365_24and7 » Fri Dec 19, 2003 4:28 am

The Boston Herald and Providence Journal are reporting that the A-Rod talks between the Red Sox and Rangers remain alive.

The Rangers still want to do the deal and Rodriguez and agent Scott Boras definitely want the thing to get done, so it looks like this story won't die for at least a couple of more days. It seems clear that there was some real progress made on Thursday, but it's uncertain just how close all the sides are. Also a mystery is how long the White Sox will wait before giving up on the Magglio Ordonez-for-Nomar Garciaparra deal. Source: Boston Herald [/b]

It won't die until one of two things happen:

#1--The trade happens.

#2--The season starts.

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

LOL Madison......and even if it is officially over, NO one on these boards, or in the media would let it die.

If I hadn't seen the actual players/owners discussing it, I would wonder if it ever really happened at all :-?
If I were playing third base and my mother were rounding third with the run that was going to beat us, I'd trip her. Oh, I'd pick her up and brush her off and say, 'Sorry, Mom,' but nobody beats me.
