13-team 5x5 mixed league non-keeper

C- Barrett
1B- Sexson
2B- Utley
SS- Rollins
3B- Rolen
OF- J Damon
OF- M Ordonez
OF- Willingham
OF- Lofton
OF- Ethier
DH- T Hafner
DH- Youkilis
SP- Peavy
SP- Mussina
SP- Capuano
SP- Bedard
SP- R Hill
SP- T Lilly
RP- JJ Putz
RP- F Cordero

BN- Gibbons, E Encarnacion, Cl Lee, Sowers

The best WW OFer's available are:
R Winn, S Green, Mench, Nixon, Church

I'm trying to trade either Capuano or Lilly for an OF, but coming up with nothing.

Also, Prior is available. Should I take a chance on his rag arm?

Any opinions would be very much appreciated.

if you wait awhile you might find a team desperate for speed that might trade for lofton(plus you have utley and rollins who both could get 20 SBs easily). if i were you i would trade capuano or mussina. I would also be more concerned with catcher because i personally have little faith in barrett i would drop gibbons or encarnacion to get ianetta or someone else at catcher to sure up that position.

help me out when you get a chance ... p?t=262137

also there maybe some person in ur league that loves sexon (theres always a few might be you tho) that will like to trade a decent OF for him

im not much of a fan of sexon which is why i dont feel it that hard to replace him...just my .02 on it all

would appreciate some input ... p?t=262112

To be honest, given the number of starting slots, that really isn't that bad an outfield. If you want to look into trading, third base is a position of strength, you've got two guys capable of being average or better starters.

As for Prior, DO IT. Oliver Perez is being drafted as a last starter in most twelve-teamers, and the upside is still sufficient that to have him as your eighth starter is a very good move.
