Last I heard he was pitching tomorrow, and if it went poorly he would likely start the year at AAA.

Is it now the DL or are you trying to be funny since this is Prior we talking about which means an assured trip or 12 to the DL?

Duschrerer will? how long are he and freddy sanchez out for?

Sanchez has been out since March 6 with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee. He took at-bats in a minor league game today but has not been cleared to run or field.

So far, he's only had 7AB with 1 hit a .143/.143/.250 which is not something you like to see from a guy already unlikely to win a repeat batting title.

Last I heard they were trying to get him into a spring training game and that he was progressing well from the surgery. That was a few days ago though.
