Any chance of them trading for Benitez? I know that talk was out there for awhile...he's available in my VERY shallow league...

From CBS:
An MRI on Mariners closer J.J. Putz showed no serious problems with his right elbow, though more extensive results were expected to be available Saturday. Putz experienced stiffness following a bullpen session Thursday morning. He has not pitched in a game since March 5 against the Cubs. "Right now, the concern of him not being ready (for opening day) on a scale of 1-10 is about a 3," manager Mike Hargrove said.

Mariners: Putz' season not lost
The News

Mariners closer J.J. Putz has been diagnosed with a mild strain of the pronator muscle in his right elbow, according to the Seattle Times. He plans to play catch on Tuesday followed by a series of workouts designed to test the arm's ability to hold up on the mound. The team has not set a timetable as of yet for his return to game action.

That is today's date.

Sherrill or Reitsma most likely. There isn't a clear-cut #2 though and others could probably get into the mix as well.

Sherrill sucks, stay away from him.
