Pretty solid team. The OF is a little weak, but for 20 teams it's not bad. I would be a little concerned about SP too.

In a 20 team league, that's a pretty solid squad. However, I'd try to improve your starting pitcher if at all possible. Ideally, I'd want a better staff anchor than Sabathia.

Also, I'm not sure that Milledge will get much PT early on, so you may need to upgrade there.

I'd say your offense is fairly good for a 20-teamer. Having three top power bats in Ortiz, A-Ram, and Glaus coupled with Delmon and Shealy's upsides should help.

I relied on Sabathia heavily in my 20-teamer last season and proved to be money in the bank on to winning the league. I also had Hamels and Bedard, and mind you, I traded Halladay for a big bat last year. I believe balance between hitting and pitching is more pivotal in a league this deep and so, you might be shakier ground behind Sabathia. But then again, everyone else's pitching appears suspect and looking to gain an edge in pitching week to week isn't the wisest strategy.

I'd pay great attention to promotions, especially on Phillip Hughes, Homer Bailey, and Yovani Gallardo. I burned on a high waiver on Hamels last year and paid great dividends for me to afford trading Halladay at the deadline. It's likely that the likes of Hughes have already been drafted, but that's a good point when the FA pool is likely to be nothing but scraps.

All in all, solid team and like most teams in your league, you should stay competitive. ;-D

Looks pretty good for a 20 teamer. I dont mind Delmon and Bonds as starters, but the last 2 OF spots could use an improvement.

The rotation also needs some work outside of Sabathia and Mussina. Sanchez and James have upside which bodes well in establishing the rotation.

Looks like a contender, but I'm curious to see whos still on FA?

Wow thats pretty solid for 20 teams, I'd search for another closer though

hes set in the bullpen no way he can do that better. if saito falters he has his saves covered.

i would look to get maybe ichiro (4 bonds)? if he needs power.

I like your team alot. The OF is not my favorite but with 20 teams it is a good as you can expect. Correct me if I am wrong but I didn't think Milledge had a starting job

Please help with mine: ... p?t=257285

I like the team... though I'm not a big Ross fan, I think he'll lose his job this year, just like 2 or 3 years ago in LA (the season after he hit 10 HRs in limited AB's)...
Also, lineup wise, once Johnson gains MI eligibility I would bench Castillo (or at least platoon him) and replace him with Norton/LaRoche (depending on who has a starting job).
