Will Mcab ever move to 1B?

Elite hitters are usually moved from their 'natural' positions to 1B to prevent injury. Since 1B is one of the easiest positions to field (most players can handle the adjustment) and least risk in terms of injury .. franchises dont want to take any chances. (ANY)

On the rare occasion where the player is as elite defensively as he is offensively (AROD) he's simply to valuable at his respective position to be moved to 1B.

It is very likely Miggy is moved to first at some point in his career.

But as a fantasy owner, why would you want him at 1B?

No way I want him to move to 1B. Although there is a wealth of strong players at 3B, there are even more power producers at 1B and thus his value would be diminished. I was just asking b/c I am concerned about his future value. In my main league my keepers stand as:
1B Pujols
1B Teix
3B Wright
3B Cabrera

not bad huh..but I still have to make a decision on who to move. (Probably Wright).
Anyways, thanks for the input, I hope that this thread doesn't belong in the draft/trade/keepers forum.

That's messed.

Did you get any of those guys from a minor league draft or such? [/b]
The odds of the AL MVP coming from the American League are looking pretty good.

Yeah, I don't see any reason why he would be moved. There were reasons for the other guys that have, that don't exist in MCab's case.

Based on his numbers, he is at least an average fielder at 3B, OF. I don't see the need to move him unless they improve dramatically at 3B and another position opens up for him. His natural position is 3B and it's not like he is horrible there.
