All of the best animation shows have slipped into that parody mode. It's easy writing, totally unoriginal and I wish it would stop. I like Family Guy as much as the next guy but I'm stone faced when they do their "Like that one time" bits because it's just not funny.

I agree when those parts come i just stare at the tv and question the point of the scene. I rarely ever find them funny.
